Who are Mid Wales Storage?

Mid Wales Storage is a family-run self-storage facility based in Machynlleth, serving customers across Wales and beyond. They provide secure, easy-access units for personal, business and student storage, alongside drive-up containers, office space and a friendly on-site team.

The challenge

The problem we walked into.

Mid Wales Storage needed a website that could do more than list units. The brief was a clear, trustworthy site that explained every storage type, helped visitors find the right size quickly, and let them get a quote or reserve online without friction. It also had to earn visibility for storage searches across a largely rural catchment, where the nearest alternative can be an hour away and most discovery happens on Google.

We designed and built a fast, mobile-first WordPress site structured around how people actually choose storage: by type, by size, and by how soon they need it.

Clear storage-type structure

Dedicated pages for self, business, student and drive-up storage, plus office space, so each audience lands on content written for them rather than a generic catch-all.

Live size calculator

An interactive storage calculator that helps visitors work out the unit size they need in seconds, cutting down wrong-size enquiries and phone back-and-forth.

Online quotes and reservations

A streamlined quote and reserve-online flow, so prospects can move from browsing to booking without waiting for office hours.

Built to be trusted

Security, access and pricing messaging brought to the front, with clean photography of the units and site so the facility feels as secure online as it is on the ground.

Local SEO foundations

Site structure, on-page copy and technical setup built around the storage searches their customers use, to win visibility across a wide rural catchment.

Everything was built in Elementor, so the team can update units, pricing and content themselves without needing a developer.
